Car dealerships are buckling down now that they have Judge Service on their side. With Judge Service, people have a place to air their complaints or compliments about the dealership. Customers will be giving a survey number and can go and talk about the whole buying experience from walking in the door to being handed the keys as they walk out the door. These surveys allow dealerships to learn from past customers and hone their customer service skills so that customers always leave happy.

It is great to see dealers take proactive steps to creating a better buying experience for their customers. So many dealers wait until they have problems and then try to learn or fix them. With Judge Service they get instant feedback and can use the info to identify concerns, figure out what makes a happy customer and promote good and happy customers. This goes for both sales and service and allows you to see the information graphically or hear their record messages from customers. This is a great tool for any new or used dealer.

In the fourth quarter of 2010, 29.8 million Americans accessed financial services accounts — including bank, credit card, or brokerage — via their mobile device, according to new state-of-the-industry research from comScore.

As that represented a 54% increase year-over-year, the state of the mobile financial services market is good.

“More people are turning to the convenience of mobile devices for their financial-service needs, fueled in part by the adoption of smartphones, 3G devices and unlimited data plans,” said Sarah Lenart, comScore vice president. “The ubiquitous nature of mobile devices affords financial brands an important channel to reach and engage customers, whether it’s at home, work or on-the-go.”

In total, 29.8 million Americans accessed financial-service accounts via their mobile device — browser or application – during the fourth quarter of the year. 18.6 million users accessed their financial accounts via mobile browser during the same period — up 58% from the previous year — while 10.8 million accessed their accounts via applications — up 120%.

Text message represented the smallest access point for financial service audiences with 8.1 million users — up 35%.

“As brands compete for customer loyalty in this competitive market, marketers will need to focus on continually improving the mobile customer experience,” Lenart added.

Among mobile banking and credit card users, nearly half preferred going online via a fixed device as the primary way to access their accounts, with 47% of mobile banking customers and 44% of mobile credit card users doing so.

Mobile has become an increasingly important access channel — with 36% of mobile credit card users and 26% of mobile banking customers indicating it is their primary method of accessing their accounts. Only a small segment of these users listed speaking with a representative in person or on the phone as their primary access method, according to comScore.

ComScore also analyzed the reasons consumers cite for not utilizing their mobile devices for financial activities. The results indicated that preference for using a fixed online device topped the list for both smartphone and non-smartphone users at 53% and 45%, respectively.

Security concerns were also rated highly as a concern among both smartphone users — 33% — and non-smartphone users — 30%. Also, 29% of non-smartphone users stated cost as a reason for not accessing these accounts, while only 10% of smartphone users said the same thing.

Finally, 26% of smartphone users also indicated that slow connection speeds hindered their mobile financial service usage. Demonstrating the overall strong awareness of these services, only 6% of smartphone users and 5% of non-smartphone users stated not knowing about these services as a reason why they did not access these accounts.

I used to think that extended warranties were for suckers. That was before I had a huge repair bill on my aging car and had to dig deep in my pockets for the bill. If I would have purchased the extended warranty all the repairs would have been covered and I would not have owed a dime. The cost of the entire warranty was actually less than the repair bill I had and it would have still given me additional time of coverage. Not to mention that it would have been worked into my original payment plan so I likely would have never noticed it since it was just part of my monthly car payment.

If you would like to add to your peace of mind you can get a auto warranty quote from a number of providers so that you can get the best package and price for your area and car. Then if and when you have a big repair you will be protected. They pay the repair shops directly so there is nothing you have to do but get your car fixed.

People have gone back to buying used cars as the economy has tightened up and people have found this as a good way to save some money. You just have to find a good car from Trusted Dealers and you can practically steal your next car. They say that new cars depreciate 20% just buy driving them off lot and if you buy used you can avoid this fate.

If you are looking for a Trusted Car Dealers UK you should consider TrustedDealers.co.uk. They have a collection of dealers with more than 20,000 cars each that have gone through a 10 point check and is backed by a warranty by the dealer. They stand behind their sales and also offer the latest of news on their company blog. They would be a great option for anyone looking for a “new” used car.

I was looking through many of their articles on their blog and I found them very useful in figuring out which car to buy and which cars might be a good fit for my needs. It is nice to see a resource like this available. Feel free to check them out and see what I am talking bout. I am sure you will find it as helpful as I did.

But Sprint has been very visible at the CTIA trade show in Orlando. CEO Dan Hesse, who doubles as chairman of the CTIA trade organized, delivered the morning keynote address, and Sprint used the CTIA forum to announce two new 4G devices.

These include an Android (running the Gingerbread version) smartphone model the HTC EVO 3D that promises to deliver glasses-free 3-D. Consumers will also be able to capture 3-D on the device up to the 720p high definition standard. EVO 3D is due out this summer (no pricing yet).

Three-dimensional content on the device can be shared on a 3-D TV. And Sprint says 3-D on the phone could appeal to real estate agents giving virtual home tours or outdoorsy types who might rely on 3-D maps of mountainous terrains and such. You’ll also be able to fetch 3-D movies on demand through a preloaded Blockbuster app. There’s also a front-facing camera for video chat.

The 3-D stills and videos on the screen that I was able to briefly watch was impressive. The phone must be in landscape mode to watch 3-D stills or videos.

Among other features, you’ll be able to wirelessly share videos, music and pictures you shoot with other electronics in your home provided they comply with an industry standard called DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance). The phone will also be among those that integrate Google Voice (and let you keep your Sprint number), as was previously announced.

Sprint also unveiled the HTC EVO View 4G, a 7-inch touchscreen tablet that is also slated for a summer release. It brings with it a digital pen for drawing, or note taking through apps like Evernote. Pricing hasn’t been set.

When you hear the word lemons people often think about lemonade or a great lemon meringue pie. But if you have lived in California before you likely have had a friend that has hired a California Lemon law lawyers. California has much stricter laws then any other state and has always been a strict one when it comes to the environment and automobiles. California Lemon Law attorneys help people that feel they have been wronged by a manufacturers or dealership. One big difference in California is the lemon law is not just for new vehicles but can also extend to parts and repairs. Lemon Law attorneys in California can make a bundle by helping people that have tried to get the problem resolved but the problem just keeps coming back.

I had a friend that lived in LA for a couple years and bought a new car that turned out to be a lemon. He was able to get things resolved fairly quickly compared to what he might have experienced in another state. I guess he lucked out that time. Do not be the guy that crosses his fingers and gets lucky. If you have problems with your car on a regular basis, leave it to the professionals to understand the law and know the weak spots of the manufacturer and get you the money you deserve.

Thanks for the guest post by Jonathan Curtis

There was some information about this small business Internet service provider here. I showed it to our operations supervisor the other day because it seemed like something looking into. We have had some issues with our Internet, our phones and just a good chunk of our electronic files. That is a big issue in this digital age, especially when you are trying to provide the best services possible to your customers. It is an even bigger issue when you are trying to grow your company. If you cannot manage what you have, then growth is a big question mark. So I showed him some information on these providers I had heard about. They all had better services than what we were currently using. It definitely has made us innovative to try to get our work done with what we have, but it seems like it is time to have what we need to do our job right. I mean how nice would it be to get on the Internet and make a phone callat the same time as twelve other people without losing connectivity or not having the files be sent back and forth fast enough?

Apparently, there’s many app stores — but only one App Store. That’s essentially Apple’s claim in its trademark suit against Amazon accusing the online retailer of using its “App Store” trademark to sell mobile applications. Amazon today unveiled its own mobile storefront dubbed “Amazon Appstore for Android,” launching with 3,800 titles optimized for Android smartphones.

According to reports, Apple is asking a California federal judge to block Amazon from using the “App Store” name and is seeking unspecified damages alleging trademark infringement and unfair competition. “We’ve asked Amazon not to copy the App Store name because it will confuse and mislead customers,” an Apple spokesperson told Bloomberg. Really?

Obviously, both companies are now in the mobile app business. But the term “app store” is commonly used to refer to the app storefront of any company operating one, as in the “GetJar app store” or the “BlackBerry app store.” Other companies may have specific branded names for their app stores, like Android Market or BlackBerry App World, but the generic term for this category of retailing is “app store.”

So the chance consumers will confuse Amazon’s new store with Apple’s App Store seems unlikely. For one thing, Amazon looks like it’s taken steps to insulate itself against an Apple claim by spelling “Appstore” in its name as one word and couching it within the broader “Amazon Appstore for Android” brand. (Oh, the alliteration.) Besides that, people will typically refer to it just as Amazon’s app store to differentiate from Apple’s storefront or any other companies.

So “app store” is already being used widely as a generic term and there doesn’t seem to be a huge problem with confusion because it’s used in context to refer to a specific app store. To the extent anyone refers only to “the App Store” they’d be understood to be talking about Apple’s App Store because it’s the biggest and most well-established mobile storefront. Because Amazon is just getting into the business and is focused on Android apps, no one is likely to confuse its “Appstore” with Apple’s.

Amazon obviously has the resources to fight this trademark battle out with Apple. To avoid what could be expensive, years-long litigation, Apple should drop the suit and save both companies time and money that could be better spent developing new products and services. But Apple isn’t known for walking away from a legal fight, so don’t expect the dispute to be resolved anytime soon.
