Hardest Time

I had the hardest time taking a break when I started working – it was an all consuming job and there was just little I could do to keep it from taking over my life. I am not normally a workaholic but you know, I just really wish I could find a balance here because I pretty much always feel like I’m behind when it comes to what I need to get done for work. I’m constantly taking work home at night and doing it while I’m watching my cabletvadvisor.com channels and I’ve really got little time leftover to meet anyone or have a social life or anything like that. I know that people my age are used to having their phones on them and being available for work 24/7 but for me it’s all about trying to do the best I can do without losing my mind in the process. I don’t think it’s healthy for your whole life to be wrapped around work but that’s the state I’m in right now.
