@davomrmac Mostly casual stuff, but i need it powerful enough to run 1080p videos smoothly and possibly to occasional game like Civilization, Football Manager, mainly strategy games. I have the new imac’s for games and also a 360. I do hope the Macbooks have at least a Core i3 Processor and a decent graphics card.
@claytonblythe The Pro is definitely worth the extra money, and I would always say go for 4GB minimum nowadays.

My budget is around 1800 dollars. Is the macbook pro worth it or not? Also what size and how much of a difference does 2 GB RAM matter besides 4GB?

@Mazai Would easily last that long, 5 years on average. I have an 8-9 year one that is still useable.
@davomrmac Oic, then what about it’s lifespan? Because I’m a student and I can only afford 1 computer from my saving, so I need a computer that can last maybe about 2 years.

Best laptop ever!!!! I owned a DELL that was custom built for 1800 and it was dead in less than two years! The virus’ got old quick! The pop up boxes on Windows, “do you want to do this,” “do you want to do that,” “click yes,” “windows has blocked this” and on and on, that got old quick! Been rocking my 15in MB Pro and never a problem. Apple is more expensive, but they are pure Q U A L I T Y! No question about it. I don’t miss a pc. Once you go MAC you never go back!
